WHAT IS A HEADSHOT?

A headshot is a tightly cropped photo of the face from the shoulders up. Historically, it’s mostly been used by actors and models as a calling card.

Today, a headshot can be for anyone looking to present themselves the way they want to both personally or professionally..

WHAT IS A PORTRAIT?

A portrait is an image of a person or persons that shows more than just the face. A portrait is meant to convey something about the subject’s identity and personality.

 

Portraits allow for creativity with the use of backdrops, lighting and posing. Portraits are a great way to tell your story.

 

What to Expect:

 

A portrait photography session involves more thought and planning. We will have a consultation session with you so that we can understand what you are looking for. 

 

Makeup and hair are currently not included and only available upon request for an additional fee.

 

You will have the opportunity to view your images throughout the session which will allow us to make any changes along the way that will help your session.

During Your Session:

 

As a headshot gets up close and personal to your face, it is important to put your best face forward.

 

Here, at Scene City, we help with that. We get you comfortable in front of the camera first. Then, we coach you through some poses to determine what works best for you. 

 

You will have the opporutnity to view your images throughout the session and make your final selection before you leave.
